Standing beside the Aa is a ‘double’ mill: the Kilsdonk Mill works with both wind and water. Unique in the Netherlands! Nut oil and other products are still made and sold here. The mill also serves as a cycle route intersection, and has a charming restaurant and terrace.

Combined water and wind-driven mills, known as ‘watervlucht’ mills, are no longer found in the Netherlands and are also extremely rare in other countries. The Kilsdonk oil mill has a double layout, which is rare for North Brabant and also suggests a large production capacity. The combination of these elements makes the complex absolutely unique at an international level.
